Halong

One of the most beautiful experiences of a trip to Vietnam is, of course, a boat trip through the beautiful karst cones and limestone islets of Halong Bay, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.

An impressive tour - still - it must be said, however, because with the construction of casinos, boats and hotels, the bay's management wants to increase the number of tourists who have so far been channeled through the world heritage site from around two million at present to six million in 2020.

Already, tours are generally offered on a "boat in - boat out - boat out" basis, which usually makes tour planning a crapshoot. The offer of hundreds of tour operators is large and tempting in price. On such tours, the art of selectively looking the other way is called for when, for example, the boat trash is simply dumped in the bay.

Nevertheless - there are other routes and thus also alternatives. We cooperate with a small boat company with which we can offer an individual program. You will travel to Halong in an air-conditioned private car and have a boat to yourself. You will be served top class seafood and you will not be riding in tow of all the other circling boats.

The cost of this two-day tour depends on the number of people.

We also offer a cheaper but still reliable standard option: Group tour up to 14 participants.
