Simple travel

This simple variant for a trip through Vietnam from north to south is first of all a basic idea how to get to know culture and tradition of a country in 14 days without much preparation.
Start on the 1st day with a city tour of Hanoi, which is also a small "crash course" for your further trip. Because Vietnam is a different world that needs to be understood.
As a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city, you will go to the countryside on the 2nd day, in a guaranteed tourist-free zone. If you want to understand Vietnam and its people, you have to go to the place where most of the population lives: in the countryside. There, people are poor and live on only two to three dollars a day.
On the 3rd and 4th day, you will drive to the famous Halong Bay. If you have ever been to Vietnam, you should definitely have seen the beautiful karst rocks in the shallow water, just as you visit the pyramids when traveling to Egypt.

On the 5th day, you will take the train to Hue. There, on Day 6, your tour guide will pick you up for a full-day city tour, including a visit to Thien An Monastery, where the 80 monks sing a truly divine chant.
On Day 7, you will travel by private car with your tour guide over Cloud Pass (Hai Van pass), to Hoi An where you will visit the beautiful, World Heritage-listed city of Hoi An.
There is much to explore here between the municipal market and the sea about 7 kilometers away, which you can easily manage on the 8th and 9th day.
On the 10th day you will fly to Saigon, where you will have a city tour of the lively metropolis on the 11th day. On the 12th day you are on your own.
On the 13th and 14th day you get on the "Mekong eyes" and cruise 2 days leisurely on
the infinitely wide Mekong river.
